Maddalena is the first Italian water meter manufacturer to receive LoRaWANTM certification for a radio module designed for integration on end point devices.
The ARROWWAN is designed for use on Maddalena MVM positive displacement water meters to turn them into IoT end points. This module lets you automatically collect consumption, diagnostic and status data from the water meter. It operates in the 868 MHz band and supports LoRaWANTM and wireless M-Bus communication protocols.
The LoRa AllianceTM is an open, non-profit association of members backing the LoRaWANTM standard for low-power wide-area IoT networks (LPWANs). The LoRa Alliance<sup>TM</sup> brings together over 500 members worldwide. Maddalena joined the LoRa AllianceTM in 2016.
